About Nikki

Nikki has been an active member of UKIP since joining in 1996. Formerly Party Secretary and member of the party’s National Executive. She has held/holds  various other committee posts and managed the Head Office of the Party in London between 1999 and 2001.

 

Making her Parliamentary election debut  in the Kent constituency of Medway at the 2001 General Election Nikki collected 2.5% of the vote. She was also the campaign Manager for the three Medway constituencies of Medway, Gillingham and Chatham & Aylesford.

In Local Elections Nikki has scored well. Standing twice in Medway, Kent, Nikki achieved 13.2% of the vote in 2000 and 16.9% in 2003 where she beat the Lib Dems.

 

To extend her political skills Nikki took a break from UKIP to work in the United States assisting on campaigns for US Representative Susan Davis and Californian Governor Arnold Schwarznegger. Nikki returned to take up a senior role in the successful UKIP European Election Campaign of 2004.

 

Nikki returned to the UK full time to become Political Assistant/Advisor to Mike Nattrass MEP for the West Midlands and now lives in Solihull.

 

In the 2005 General Election Nikki doubled UKIP’s vote in Halesowen and Rowley Regis.

In 2007 Nikki became chairman of the Solihull & Meriden in 2007 and has stood in two Council Election each time beating Labour.

In 2008 Nikki was elected as Chairman of the UKIP West Midlands Regional Committee.
